I was quite disheartened to watch the news show some people in some states gather and burn their masks. I even saw one elderly lady explicitly say that she had no fear of it at all and added that all the news about the virus was all made up. 

It is no secret that some people don't believe that the COVID virus exists hence their resistance to wearing any mask or socially distancing.  How I wish it were true!  But, I do know three people, all close to me who passed away one after another last April 2020 from it.
