I have been on summer break nearly a month.  Had the pandemic not happened, I would be in London by now.  While I realize there are other matters more important nowadays than travel and vacation in some far away destination,  I have to say, I miss flying and exploring new lands.

I was supposed to be in London, then head on to Tel Aviv July 14th.  But with Americans being banned from travel to Europe and other places, I really had no choice but to stay home.  To date, my family and I have booked a visit to Yosemite.  We shall see if we even go given the surge in Corona virus cases in Northern California where we live.  We've been there many times in the last years but a break from our daily life would be a much welcomed respite.
