Porto's Majestic Train Station
I have been to many train stations in the course of my travels around the world and I can honestly say that the one in Porto is one of my favorites. Not only is it a place for trains to arrive and depart from, it is like a museum with its main hall decorated in some gorgeous intricate blue tiles depicting scenes from Portugal's history. Marc and I visited a number of times to take pictures. We hoped that the number of people would dwindle during some parts of the day. It probably does but during our visits, we had no such luck. IT was crazy full!
