Caribbean Cruise

2-May-2019 • Miami United States

For my spring break two weeks ago, Marc and I went on our sixth Caribbean cruise. This time we sailed with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. I took the day off Friday before the break to be able to catch the overnight flight to Miami, Florida. Our cruise's itinerary included two islands I had never visited up until this trip, Haiti and Bonaire. In fact, I chose this cruise specifically because they went to these two places. Aruba and Curacao were the other two countries we went to. These two were repeats for us since we traveled there last 2009 on a Princess Christmas Cruise.

A view of Miami from the ship

This was how the Royal Promenade of the ship, Navigator of the Seas looked.

This was the elegant dining room. We only ate here twice. Once for lunch and the other time for dinner. We didn't want to dress up for dinners and we didn't bring any formal clothes with us either. Hence, breakfast, lunch, and dinner for us was mostly at the Windjammer Restaurant on Deck 11. How I miss cruising.

This was how the pool looked on the very first afternoon of the cruise. Our fellow passengers surely didn't waste any time enjoying themselves as soon as boarding was done.
