The Topkapi Palace

After visiting the Aya Sofya, it was the Topkapi Palace for us. One guidebook we read mentioned that one could easily spend a day here. Perhaps, but we didn't. Maybe we should have but when we were there, it seemed to us that we saw everything or almost everything in such a short period of time. I even mentioned how surprised I was that we saw all that needed to be seen so quickly.

After going through the pictures we had taken, we realize we didn't take much either. We do remember visiting some pavilions and exhibits where photography was prohibited. In hindsight, we should have lingered a bit more. Then again, by the time we got here, our stomach had begun to grumble and we wanted to eat lunch badly too.
