Shortly after having Christmas brunch with my sister at the Red Rock Hotel in Summerlin, Marc took me to Red Rock Canyon State Park. Was I floored when I saw it. The rock formations were just spectacular. I have been to Las Vegas many times and I thought I had seen everything there was to see in the city. Was I wrong!

I highly recommend a visit to this state park. It really isn't far from the Strip. Thirty minutes tops by car. I'd say this was the highlight of my Christmas trip to Sin City in 2017.
