I first stumbled upon this religious shrine during my Christmas vacation to Las Vegas two Christmases ago. It was winter then and very cold yet Buddhist visitors flocked and prayed in front of it. It was quite a sight. This time around, in the middle of February, the site of the shrine was pretty quiet. It was just Marc and I. Anyway, it did bring back memories of our visit to Bangkok just two months earlier.
