The Shwedagon Pagoda

31-Jan-2017 • Yangon Myanmar

Marc, my partner, and I spent many hours in Shwedagon. The entire area was circular in layout and I insisted that we went around twice. I just had to take everything in and savour the moment. I said to myself, "Who knows when we were going to return?" It was indeed a spectacular sight I hope I get to revisit in the near future.

Thank goodness for cameras, we can take pictures galore to remember our vacations and trips.

While I was in Bangkok, I thought it was only in Thailand where I could find the reclining Buddha. Little did I know, they are everywhere.

Since we had to walk barefoot in Shwedagon, it was hard to walk around the premises sometimes since the cemented floor was too hot due to the oppressive heat of the sun.
