In Guam's International Airport

27-Nov-2016 • Agana Guam

I was hoping to spend time in Guam's international airport on the way back to the US from Manila. But, the hour long delay out of the Philippines really cut short my supposed layover. What a let down! To think, the airport did look pretty. Anyway, I ended up with only enough time to go through immigration and security before I heard the announcement for all passengers bound for Honolulu to report to the gate. It was a good thing I heeded the call and decided not to sightsee anymore. By the time I arrived at Gate 9, my fellow passengers were already boarding.

This is the beautiful scene that greeted me upon my arrival. Hafa Adai, Guam!

The airport though small looked very pretty. I will definitely return.

Some life size canoes on display in the middle of the airport.

This scene reminded me of my native Philippines. A water buffalo pulling a cart.

This was my United plane for Honolulu.

Inside the plane waiting for my fellow passengers to board. Just in case you're wondering why I had my glasses on. I put them on just before I took this selfie. It was 4 am and I was so sleepy. I didn't want my eyes to appear half closed.
