My Labor Day Weekend 2016

4-Sep-2016 • San Francisco United States

After spending almost the entire day yesterday, Saturday, at home and asleep, I was determined to enjoy the sunny weather today and walk around the city. Fortunately, my partner, Marc, had likewise finished his "homework" and was able to accompany me on our ever continuing discovery of our beloved adopted hometown.

Our very first stop during our early afternoon walk was Chinatown. This was the side of a store along Grant Avenue. How colorful can Chinatown get?

I must say, murals just spring just about everywhere in San Francisco. It was my first time to see this sign along Kearney Street on our way to the Financial District.

Never saw this ice cream parlor in financial district until today.

These were the seats artistically placed outside The Little Giant ice cream parlor along Sutter Street for customers to sit on.

Now that we're in September, it is not surprising to see Halloween decors for sale in stores. These were from a paper store.

These were some absolutely pretty wrapping paper we saw inside the brand new paper store.

We likewise visited the newly refurbished San Francisco Musuem of Modern Art. We only went as far as the museum's lobby. We plan to visit it tomorrow early in the morning.
