The Summer Palace
The biggest restaurant on board Norwegian Cruise Line's Pearl was the Summer Palace. It was where many passengers had lunch and dinner throughout the entire cruise. It looked very similar to the Venetian restaurant in NCL's Dawn. The only difference this time around is that at the Pearl, the restaurant had a distinctly Russian décor. There were paintings of the last Russian Czar and his family throughout the entire site. There were imitation Faberge eggs along the staircase bar or handles. Even the coat of arms of Russia was stitched on the back side of each dining chair.
I really enjoyed eating here a lot. How I miss it so much. I must say, cruising is fast becoming my favorite way of traveling.
