I have no idea how many times I have flown ever since I began traveling nearly 30 years ago. I do remember the very first flight I took. It was an international flight from Manila to Madrid with stops in Bangkok, Dubai, and Amsterdam on KLM, the Dutch airlines.

I will forever remember holding on to my seat for dear life as the flight took off. That flight lasted nearly 24 hours and I remember being absolutely exhausted upon my arrival in Madrid.

There is no denying that I love airplanes. While it is true not everybody looks forward to boarding a plane for various reasons (long boring flights, bad airline food, cramped seating spaces), I do. That's most probably because I only board airplanes when I go on vacation and so my experiences have almost always been good.
