Las Vegas at Night

30-Dec-2015 • Las Vegas United States

No one can deny that Las Vegas is very pretty at night. With all casino resort hotels lit at full blast once the sun sets, it is a lot of fun to walk on the strip from Mandalay Bay all the way to the Wynn which are four miles apart. It felt safe too given all the tourists walking the entire length.

Marc and I tried to walk the entire strip twice only to fail each time. By the time we reached the half way point which for me was the area where the Bellagio and Caesars Palace were located, four hours had passed since we left Luxor, our hotel, and we just had to return and call each time a night. We simply got exhausted. Just how could we not be? Each hotel was an attraction on its own and worthy of a visit and stroll. We ended up taking detours and touring each hotel. There were so many people and it was easy to get lost.

It was only on our third attempt did we manage to reach the Fashion Show Mall across the swank Encore Hotel and Resort. By then, we decided we were simply going to walk on the sidewalk and not go inside any hotel and casino for any look whatsoever. How long did it take us to walk the distance? An hour!
