The Painted Ladies
Last Saturday, Marc and I visited San Francisco's famous Painted Ladies, the Victorian houses that line Steiner Street. They actually became even more popular when they were used as the backdrop for the popular family comedy series, FullHouse, back in the nineties.
These centuries old Victorian houses have long sold for well over two million dollars each and I wouldn't be surprised if they have doubled in price in the last few years. This was not our first visit. In fact, I've seen them so many times, I actually take them for granted just like many locals in many other places do with their own respective city attractions. Of all the sights in San Francisco, this I believe is the sight I have not visited as much as all the other famous attractions. I do strongly recommend a visit here for the impressive view of the houses with the city skyline in the background. What's more, it doesn't cost any to visit. It is free!
