My Personal Favorites: Europe

27-Jun-2015 • San Francisco United States

Europe is without any doubt one of the most beautiful continents in the world. I wouldn't mind vacationing here year after year.

I cannot blog about my personal favorites about Europe without including Spain. I studied and lived here for a total of four years. It was here where I received my Master's in Spanish Language and Culture and Madrid and Salamanca will always have a special spot in my heart.

Plaza de España, Madrid is not exactly a tourist attraction but it used to be my hangout. I loved coming here in the summer to meet up with friends and simply people watch.

In front of my alma mater, la Universidad de Salamanca. Here I am in front of the university's main building and its most famous façade. Had I been told right when I was just learning Spanish in Manila that I would one day be a graduate of Spain's most prestigious university, I would have laughed it off.
