It is just unbelievable how much news and coverage the Mayweather and Pacquiao fight in Las Vegas has gotten in the last month here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I can also imagine the atmosphere in the Philippines today.

I can still remember back in 1974 when the match between Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali popularly named "Thrilla in Manila" took place in the Philippines. I was in grade school back then and our classes ended early so that everyone could watch the bout on TV.

Fast forward to the present, I can no longer watch boxing matches. I find them too violent. However, I do not think I need to wish neither of these two men any luck. Win or lose, both will earn at least a $100,000,000 dollars each. That's way more than any of us mere mortals will earn in our lives.

For the meantime, I cannot sit still and am anxious to know who will win.
