Marc, my partner, and I have stayed at the IBIS Munich twice. We first went there over the Christmas holidays 2013 and then in the summer the year after. There was not much to say about the hotel. It was typical IBIS which we chose for its central location and price. By the time we went and stayed there, we had traveled extensively to Eastern Europe for two straight years where we stayed at IBIS hotels all throughout. We had stayed in so many IBISES by then we knew what to expect. It was basic, good quality, and the least inexpensive among hotels we knew of in all of Europe.
