Caesar's Palace

27-Dec-2014 • Las Vegas, Nevada United States

Las Vegas' hotels and casinos are replete with shopping arcades and esplanades. Caesar's Forum at the hotel and casino resort of the same name is no different. As far as I can recall, this place was already up and running on my very first visit to Vegas last 1997.

Marc and I didn't stay long enough to find out if the statues still moved. They did so every hour years ago and they were the mall's main attraction.

After having walked through many hotels on this visit, I got the impression that the malls had the same exact stores. What was in the Wynn, was in Bellagio, the Venetian, Caesar's Forum, Aria, and more.

The Christmas crowd

There was no doubt a huge number of high end and very chi chi restaurants by famous chefs in Vegas today.

Just a year ago, I was in Florence and saw the statue of David in the Academia. Though this one in Vegas is a mere copy, it looked quite similar.

The check in counters in Caesars. It was funny how many of the check in counters in all the Vegas hotels last Christmas resembled lines of people in the airport going through customs and immigration.
