The Day Before Christmas
Although I have visited Nevada and Las Vegas many times, it was just on this visit did I get to have my picture taken right in front of the Las Vegas sign. Mind you, should you go, the line of people waiting to have their pictures taken in front of this landmark is very, very long. Go with lots of patience.
Hello Vegas!
On our first full day in Vegas, Marc and I met up with my sister and brother in law in Red Rock Casino and Resort which they often frequent in the upscale and exclusive Summerlin district of Las Vegas. I have visited this area as well as the Red Rock before but the place never ceases to fascinate me. It is just oh so beautiful. If and when I buy property in Vegas, I will buy here.
The locals' preferred buffet restaturant in Summerlin. The difference in the price between the buffets in the strip and the ones for the locals is night and day. Our buffet lunch here was nowhere near the $69.95 charged at the WYNN and the newest hotels and resorts on the Strip.
