Decorating For Christmas

30-Nov-2014 • San Francisco, California United States

Today was the last day of my nine day Thanksgiving vacation. Tomorrow, I join the entire working population of America head back to work. I am actually not so sad. In three weeks, I have another vacation coming up, this time two and a half weeks long for the Christmas holidays.

Early this afternoon, Marc and I decided to take a walk along California Street and check out the Christmas decorations already put up and still being placed in different lobbies of hotels and companies in the Financial District. Surprisingly, many of the buildings we saw were still not fitted with any décor whatsoever. Others were just being feverishly decorated now as I type this entry.

It was mentioned in the news that the Fairmont's Gingerbread House was the biggest in the city. Thus, off we went to this hotel a block away from our home. The lobby was quite busy with visitors. It was rather festive.
