It Feels A Lot Like Christmas!

Today was the first day of my weeklong Thanksgiving vacation. I waited a long time for it and I told myself yesterday when I left school that I should enjoy every minute of it. Well so far so good. It has been quite relaxing and I am loving it.

Since it was forecasted to rain a lot today, Marc and I decided to just spend the day in malls and look at the Christmas decorations. We first went to Valley Fair in San Jose and then Hillsdale Mall in San Mateo.

Everyone must have had the same idea as us today since the malls were literally packed and parking was very scarce.
This was a scene inside the Valley Fair Mall across Santana Row.

This is the part of the Valley Fair Mall which housed the uber expensive stores and boutiques.

How I loved these wooden light chandeliers!

This was the food court inside Valley Fair. It had some truly good restaurants here.

Pottery Barn. It's too bad this store doesn't have a branch in Union Square. It happens to be one of my favorites. Boo hoo!

These pictures here of Pottery Barn don't do the place justice. Sure it is just a store, but boy, it always feels like walking through a decorators' showroom every time I come here.

Yes, I admit. I am a bit of a mall rat. I can't help it. I love to window shop and shop. As friends of mine say, "It's very therapeutic."

This was the main decor in Hillsdale Mall. Some families lined up to have their pictures taken with Santa.

The way to the food court. What a sight!
