Daddy's Visit
My dad returned to the US after a long absence to attend my mom's funeral. It was a bittersweet encounter. It was at this time when we patched things up and made peace. I do love my dad very much. He was a kind, respectful, caring, and hardworking man.
Every afternoon for the entire duration of my dad's stay in the Bay Area, I accompanied him to a golf driving range where he was in his element. I had to buy him new gold clubs here. He was like a kid in a candy store when I took him to Garibaldi's on Polk Street. I was more than happy to buy him what he wanted. After years of giving, it was my turn to give back.
