The cupcake ornaments had the look and feel (yes, folks, the feel) of real authentic cupcakes. I almost ate one right there in the store.

Thank goodness these were fake, otherwise I would have bought a dozen for my afternoon snack.

Crate and Barrel

What? A real German nutcracker priced at $135 in Crate and Barrel? Yes, the one in the middle will be mine before the season ends.

Ross, How can I live without you?

Bloomingdale's

Christopher Radko ornaments, the ornaments to have and to hold. Each one costs a minimum of $50. I own a few, a few hundred. No kidding.

Back in the 1990's, all the glass blown ornaments I saw sold in Macy's were from Germany and Easter Europe. Sadly, many are now from China and the look and quality are just not the same. Sure, the real thing costs a fortune, a huge fortune for just one. But then, they are very, very pretty.

Exquisite. Christopher Radko ornaments are surely exceptional.

Sure glad some of the real German and Eastern European ornaments are still sold in Bloomingdales.

Sur La Table

I didn't realize Sur La Table still sold glass blown ornaments from Eastern Europe at very reasonable prices. I know I literally have thousands of these ornaments, however, this particular one caught my attention. I think I'll buy some when they go on sale. 50% off or more, that is.
