The Kunst Historiches Museum Wien

27-Jul-2014 • Vienna Austria

Marc and I were just here in Vienna two years ago. For this reason, we did not feel the urgency to see all the sights. We had after all, seen most of them before. We did decide to come here to recover from jet lag and rest before we set out on our real travel adventure: The Balkans.

While here in Vienna though, I did want to visit the Kunst Historiches Museum. We visited the place on our first full day of vacation and although we were groggy, sleepy, and very tired from the nearly 24 hour travel from the US West Coast, it was difficult not to be awed. The museum was simply excellent. The collection of paintings by Italian, Dutch, Flemish and many more painters was superb.
