Marc and I do a lot of walking when we travel. While we do take the metro, buses, and trains, whenever necessary, we do love to just walk around and it has been our preferred mode of getting to know any city we visit during our travels.

As soon as we arrived in our hotel here in Vienna, we changed into more comfortable clothes and shoes, and we began what I normally call the walking marathon. I am surprised at times by the area we get to cover in a day and the hours we spend walking from morning til night.
