Dora Observatory and The Dorasan Station

23-Jul-2014 • Seoul Korea, South

From the DMZ we proceeded to the Dora Obervatory where we were able to see and walk through part of a tunnel apparently dugged out by the North Koreans until they were discovered and stopped.

At Dorasan Train Station. This was a station built on the South Korean side that had tracks onto the North. It was built with the hope that one day the two Koreas would be one, or if not, reach a stage in their relationship whereby travel from one country to the other was going to be possible.
