Phoenix, Arizona
Given we still had time before our flight back to San Francisco, Marc and I decided to drive to downtown Phoenix to see what it was like. It was Memorial Day and so everything was closed and deserted. We did see the Arizona State Capitol Building as well as the numerous memorial monuments dedicated to the American soldiers from Arizona who fought in different wars beginning with the Second World War.
