There was one article I read a while back about what foreign tourists do a lot of in San Francisco. One of their popular activities mentioned was shopping. I wouldn't doubt it for a minute. Everytime I visit a department store like Macy's or a discount store like Marshalls and Ross, I see hundreds of them buy new suitcases. I bet they're for all the goods they have bought in between sighseeing.
I think San Francisco is one of the world's best shopping meccas. It has everything for everyone. Should anyone desire luxury, we have that here. Should anyone desire budget, we have that here too. Should anyone desire luxury on a budget, come here and you will be pleasantly surprised.
I have been to many countries around the world. I can say without any doubt that the US is the best place for shopping. It literally has anything and everything anyone desires. It can be glitzy and at the same time affordable. It is a shopper's haven bar none.
