Ryoanji Temple
After visiting the Kinkakuji Temple one morning, Marc and I proceeded to the Ryoanji Temple. This temple's allure was really its centuries old ZEN rock garden.

There were hundreds of visitors here at the time of our visit. Many sat by the floor of the tiny wooden house next to the garden. Despite the crowd the atmosphere was rather quiet with the people all staring at this rock garden, almost mesmerized and everyone meditating.
