Of all the museums we visited in Japan, the Tokyo Edo Museum was my hands down favorite. It was big and its exhibits very beautiful, not to mention life like and life size. Unlike the other museums we had visited here before, this museum was more interactive.
I have seen many versions of this wreath in much smaller size. Per my understanding, the locals place it on their house door for goodluck during the New Year. It reminds me of a wreath American homes have on their doors during the Christmas holidays.

A palanquin. Per my knowledge, people of importance rode in it and were carried and transported by servants.
I initially thought these were real actors of a play performing for a crowd inside the museum just like in the Kabuki Theater. It turns out these were all mannequins. Pretty impressive, huh?
I swear I thought this guy was a live human being.
