My Very First Visit to Las Vegas, Nevada

23-Mar-2014 • Las Vegas, Nevada United States

It is hard for me to believe that it has been nearly twenty years since my very first visit to Las Vegas. Of all American cities, this is one place I have visited many times. It is not surprising at all since Las Vegas is a mere hour plane ride away from San Francisco or an eight hour drive depending on one's speed and route. I can still remember, the fancy resort hotels that now dot the strip had not been built yet at that time. Of the hotels then, Treasure Island, the MGM Grand, Bally's, the Imperial Hotel, Flamingo, The Riviera, and Aladdin were the biggest hotel names. How times have changed.
