Marc and I used to take lots of walks around San Francisco every weekend. We just loved it and besides being very good exercise walking up and down the hill, it felt very therapeutic after a weeklong full of work. I can no longer recall when these pictures were taken. But, these images just remind me how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful city.
Marc at the top of Lombard Street, more popularly known as the Crookedest Street in the World.
This is how the street looks like at the bottom. Be forewarned, this is one of the city's main attractions and is thus full of tourists any time of year or day.
I can't get over how beautiful San Francisco is right behind me.
The sea lions at Fisherman's Wharf. Ever since I moved to San Francisco, I have always seen these sea lions at the wharf. I learned that they didn't really congregate here back in the old days. IT was only after the 1989 SF Loma Prieta earthquake did these sea creatures begin congregating here.

Who can resist Ghirardelli Chocolates? I have one of these at least once a week.
