Danshui

29-Mar-2014 • Taipei Taiwan, R.O.C.

We spent one afternoon in Danshui while on our Taipei vacation. Located in the northern part of the Taiwanese capital, the tiny city was on the subway line making travel to it an easy trek.

Highly recommended here was the market full of stores and restaurants. It is also said that the best time to come here is late in the afternoon for the awesome sunset as well as see the beautifully lit bridge at night.

This pig in a local residence reminded me of the wild pig dish we had for lunch in Toroko Gorge. It was yummy!
