Days Inn Vancouver

12-Mar-2014 • Vancouver B.C. Canada

We lucked out big time when we went to Vancouver, BC on the Christmas of 2012. Vancouver is a ridiculously expensive city in terms of lodging. Hotel room rates run the high hundreds a night. I was completely surprised when our room rate at the centrally located Days Inn of Vancouver was only, take this, $50 a night. Dirt cheap if you ask me. Perhaps it was because we visited the city in winter when tourists arrivals are low.

Anyway, I do highly recommend this particular Days Inn and I would not hesitate staying here again should we return to Vancouver, that is, if the price is right.

The hotel's facade

The bed in our room. I am not much for very high end hotels. First of all, Marc and I do not really like spending too much on any hotel room. We hardly stay there. We really just use it to sleep in and not much more. When does that happen? At night when we return to the room after a full day of sightseeing.

The work desk

The door and mini refrigerator inside the room. I was pleasantly surprised to see this appliance inside our room. We did take advantage of it. We stored the snacks and drinks we bought in some supermarket here.
