The Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels and the Martyrs in Termini

Were it not for signs like this which we take pictures of when we visit landmarks and attractions, we would have long forgotten what this beautiful church in Termini was called.

Right from the beginning, we were intrigued by the basilica's looks because they looked liked ruins. This was how we saw the basilica every time we walked passed by it from our hotel.

Everywhere we went, especially churches, basilicas, and cathedrals, this nativity scene was ever so present.

Here's a close look at the nativity scene showing the birth of Jesus in a manger

Now I found this quite artistic.

The basilica was huge!

Can you see the tiny hole in the ceiling which let a ray of light into the basilica?

The ray of light would enter the basilica and it could be seen right on this line.
