San Francisco Christmas 2013

19-Dec-2013 • San Francisco United States

Marc and I went to Ongpin Restaurant today to get our weekly Filipino food fix. On the way back home, we decided to pass by Tanforan Mall and buy some Christmas décor for our home. Given that there are literally only 10 days left before the big day, there were thousands of people everywhere. Getting a spot in the parking lot was a bit of a challenge although not entirely impossible. One could just feel Christmas in the air. Everyone was just busy shopping buying gifts and more.

Christmas in the US is never complete without these nutcrackers

Inside the Container Store in downtown San Francisco, I saw these fully decorated condiment bottles. Some had ribbons while others even had jeweled necklaces. How artsy is that!

I cannot have enough of Union Square. I pass by this area every single day twice a day. The first time I walked through it is on my way to work and the second time on my way home from work.

The impressive façade of Macy's Department Store during the holiday season. This has become a landmark and a tourist spot at Christmas. People stop by the square and take pictures all day long. The night time view is impressive.
