While living in Manila, I met someone who had visited Madurodam and told me about the miniature houses and buildings, all replicas of important landmarks from all over the world. I was just too glad to see it for myself while in the Netherlands.

By the time this picture was taken, I had gotten quite familiar with Schiphol Airport. It was after all the airport that I had traveled to and layed over in a number of times more than any airport in my limited traveling years up to that point. Fast forward to 2014, I concur with everyone who has voted Schiphol as one of the best airports in the world. It is indeed pretty and very efficient. I do hope to be back in the Netherlands soon.
