A Fashion Show at the Norwegian Folk Museum

10-Aug-2013 • Oslo Norway

It was around 4 pm when we got here and so the crowds in many museums not to mention to the island had thinned out a lot.

I found this visit interesting for two reasons. First, it gave me a glimpse into modern and contemporary Norwegian fashion and, second, the exhibit was done inside a room made to look like a real church. The setting alone with all the religious artifacts were amazing. Going through the exhibit, it was hard to concentrate on just one aspect since one mannequin was placed in front of at least century old altar, painting, or statue. We were pleasantly surprised when we were told we could take pictures here and in many other parts of the museum.
