The Beach at HUK
On our way to the Viking Ship Museum, we had to take the bus and then change at a stop named HUK. Little did we know that it was where many locals went to go swimming and sunbathe during the summer season. We saw many people heading towards the beach. Given that we had ample time, we opted to catch a later bus to our original destination so we could see what HUK was all about.
The beach was not the typical beach we usually go to in Florida, Hawaii, or the Caribbean. It wasn't the long stretch of sandy beach we are familiar with but pretty just the same if you ask me.
The beach area was divided into two areas. One of the two was for people who wanted to swim and sunbathe just the way the came into the world. That area I just had to see. Unlike many of the nude beaches in San Francisco which are more secluded, the one at HUK was so easily accessible. Goodness, we passed by it to go to the regular beach. How difficult was that people?
There were many people although I don't remember seeing as many swimming in the water. Truth to tell, since we didn't bring our swim trunks with us, we didn't linger and after a half hour we made our way to the Viking Ship Museum.
