On our return to Paris, we stopped by a winery. It was called MUMM and it was a chance for us to see how French wine was made and produced. Coming from San Francisco, wineries were really nothing new to us. We live close to the equally famous wineries and vineyards of Napa and Sonoma in Northern California.
We bought one of these bottles. In fact, we still have it stored in our fridge, 13 years after our visit to the winery and our tour of France back in the year 2000.
The way to the section of the winery where the barrels of wine were stored
Voila, the barrels upon barrels of wine being aged prior to bottling and selling them to the public
I haven't the foggiest idea what this was. It was taken inside the winery, of course.

The control panel unit. I assume this was to control the temperature in the storage room.

Our final group photo. This was a very nice group of people we traveled with. We were all mostly from across the US from California to Maine although there were a few Australians and a Singaporean lady in the group.
From here we were off to Paris for the last and final leg of our tour.
