Last July 2008, Washington based glass artist, Dale Chihuly, presented his collection of glass works at the De Young Museum. It was a huge hit! Many people I knew from neighbors from my condo building to colleagues from work talked and praised it in heaps. I knew Marc and I had to go see it for ourselves and we were definitely impressed.

Since we were already in the museum, we likewise visited the other permanent exhibits of the museum.

There were many people in the museum. It was packed even though the exhibit had gone on for a while now. Visitors were given specific times when they could enter the galleries showcasing the glass works. Inside, people's oohs and aahs were never ending.
