Down Memory Lane: France, July and August 2000
I have literally thousands of pictures from previous travels I need to add to my blog. From here on out, every time you see an entry with the title "Down Memory Lane", you will be seeing photos taken from trips dating back to over twelve years ago. Don't be surprised if I start looking younger and younger in these posts. I am not doing a Benjamin Button here folks. It's just that the photos were taken ages ago and it is only now that I have blogged about them.
Here I am at the old San Francisco International Airport last July 28, 2000 waiting for our United flight for Paris, France. Although this was going to be my second visit to the City of Lights, it was going to be Marc's first.
I would like to remind you though that the pictures you will see on this blog and for the next few ones about Paris and France will be a bit hazy as our Kodak camera at that time only had one megapixel. For the year 2000, that was actually a digital first and quite advanced. How times have changed since then. Now cameras can have more than 10 megapixels for a truly clear and crisp picture. Anyway, I am truly grateful for this new invention. Had it not been for these digital pictures of today, I would not be able to upload them into this blog so easily.
