More of MOTAT 2
MOTAT was a big place. What I thought was a museum worthy of only a couple of hours' visit turned out to be more like five hours. It was big indeed and had a lot of exhibits both small and big for visitors to view. I remember us leaving the place mid afternoon. Here are the other galleries we visited.
Tramway and Tramcars
This tram was cleared of all its interior seats for visitors to walk through while on display.
This is the place where we had lunch. This Victorian style building, named Cropper House, has a small cafeteria on the first floor. There is a formal dining room opposite the cafeteria and a conference/private room for special events on the second floor. It was a good thing we were here when the rain really poured mid day. Thank heavens it lasted no more than 10 minutes and we were out and about touring shortly after our lunch.

Oriel's Tearoom, on the ground floor of the Cropper House. This is actually just across the small deli we had lunch in at the MOTAT

A closer shot
The next gallery we visited in MOTAT was the one called "I am the last tram." with many tram displays.
This gallery was likewise adjacent to the exhibits called "Rattle your Dags", "Signposts to Godzone", and "Shutter Camera Exhibition" inside the Lower Exhibition Hall.
