The Dmitri Gusti National Village Museum
Of all the sights or must sees in Bucharest, the Dmitri Gusti National Village Museum often came in last among the lists I saw on the internet. There was even one person who stated that it was quite far from the city center. My take on the theme park? It should not be missed! As for its location, nothing can be ridiculous when someone refers to it as far. It is right next to the Herastrau Park and close to the Triumphal Arch. It is accessible by metro.
We went early in the morning to avoid the mid day heat. It worked well for an hour but it got really hot by 10 onwards. There was admission but it too was affordable. We stayed practically the entire morning visiting and scrutinizing every Romanian structure in the park.
There were lots of locals visiting the park when we went and it must have been some holiday because many of them, men and women, dressed in the traditional Romanian attire.
